- Use the buttons in the Top Bar (📺, 📁, ⏱️) to show or hide windows.
- Once you have a layout you like, click the Unlock/Lock button (🔓 to 🔒) in the top right. This freezes your windows in place so you don't accidentally move them while editing!
- Open the 📁 Assets window. Click "➕ Import Local Files" to upload media from your device.
- These are your precision timeline tools located right above the tracks:
- ◀ / ▶ (Nudge): Moves your playhead exactly one frame forward or backward so you can find the perfect cut.
- |◀ / ▶| (Jump): If you click a clip to select it, these buttons instantly jump your playhead to the exact start or end of that specific clip. If you don't have any clip selected, they act as master controls, jumping to the very beginning (00:00) or the absolute end of your entire timeline.
- 🧲 Snap (Magnet): When this is blue, clips will automatically "snap" perfectly edge-to-edge when you drag them close to each other. This prevents accidental black screens.
- 🔲 Multi-Select: Click this to turn on Multi Mode. You can now tap multiple clips to highlight them, allowing you to drag a whole group of clips at once!
- Double-click any clip on the timeline to open its ⚙️ Properties Popup.
- To Split: Move your red playhead to the exact moment you want to cut, double-click the clip, and hit the "✂️ Split" button.
- To Copy/Cut: Click the 📋 Copy or ✂️ Cut buttons inside the Properties popup.
- To Paste: Move your playhead to the new location, look at the Timeline Toolbar (above the tracks), and click the 📋 Paste button.
